The story
On this January day, the sky holds a loose gathering of wings. Birds draw close, then leave wide pockets of blue between them, each body briefly describing a different angle of flight. Pale cloud softens the space behind their dark feathers and bright bills. With no land in view, the eye follows the flock without finding an edge to its journey.
