The story

On this June day, the sun remains hidden, but its light finds passages through the clouds. Gold spreads along the horizon beneath a heavy canopy of blue. A wave gathers, folds, and carries its white edge toward the sand. As the foam thins, the wet shore briefly holds the sky's brightness before another wave arrives.
