The story
On this November day, the sun rests just above the water, a small bright circle beneath the clouds. A wave lifts and breaks, scattering pale spray across the gold reflection. Foam reaches over the uneven shore, leaving thin ribbons of light between the rocks. Beyond it, the headland recedes into haze, and the next swell gathers.
