The story

In early March, the beach gathers beneath a scatter of blue canopies. People move between the shade of umbrellas and the pale shallows, pausing where foam spreads over the sand. An orange shelter interrupts the blue, a small, warm accent amid the crowd. From above, the many separate gestures settle into a leisurely rhythm, accompanied by the recurring hush of surf.
