The story
On this November day, the water holds a wash of rose beneath the blue hull. A yellow boat rests farther right, its tether dipping toward the surface. Between them, a slender mooring pole draws a wavering line through the reflected sky. Palms gather at the edge of the shore, while the distant rocks fade into lavender. Nothing seems hurried toward the horizon.
