A narrow garden path follows monumental fluted columns beside a pond, framed by overhanging branches and dense waterside planting. Sunlight catches the textured stone and yellow-green grasses, while the receding columns and rope boundary guide the eye into shade. The composition holds architectural weight and leafy abundance in quiet balance.
The story
Late June light gathers along the grasses beside the path. On one side, water breaks into small bright ripples; on the other, deep grooves in the columns hold their shadows. Branches reach across the passage, softening the boundary between garden and architecture. The path bends out of sight, leaving the next few steps to the imagination.
