Seen from below, an ornate dome gathers geometric coffers around a circular central panel, supported by arches and fluted columns with richly carved capitals. Warm light touches the archways while deeper shadows articulate the ceiling’s relief, creating a measured rhythm of stone and open sky.

The story

Late June light reaches beneath the arches and warms their curved edges. Overhead, pale panels nest within carved borders, each shape drawing the eye toward the center. Sculpted figures stand between the openings, their lowered heads held in permanent quiet. The sky appears in broad fragments, giving the monumental canopy a surprising lightness.
